Wed Mar. 29, 2000 In the Beginning...
PerlDB is a database project to create a new database written entirely in Perl. PerlDB will be closely related to the Perl DBI project and will be created in line with the ANSI SQL-92 database standard. If you would like to join us, please get in touch via the mailing lists below.

Wed Apr. 19, 2000 The "Botfly" Project
An attempt is to be made to port Python's well-known "Gadfly" database to Perl. If you would like to know more about this, please contact Garrett Goebel here:

Thu Apr. 20, 2000 Release of Anubis version 0.02
Tryout the 2nd version of the Anubis Program, based on Jeff Zucker's SQL::Parser module here:

Thu Apr. 20, 2000 Release of Anubis version 0.03
Download, install and tryout the 3rd version of the Anubis Program, based on Jeff Zucker's DBD::RAM module. Now comes with a very primitive database back-end. Anubis now requires the installation of DBD::RAM's RAM.pm Perl module.

Tue Aug. 08, 2000 Imminent DBD::AnyData.pm Breakthrough
Imminent release due of Jeff Zuckers's DBD::AnyData.pm and AnyData.pm (formerly DBD::RAM).

DBD::AnyData will arrive soon, but in the meantime, to try out any of Jeff Zucker's work, download from here:
